Lyceum of the Philippines University (formerly Lyceum of Batangas) was founded by Dr. Sotero H. Laurel in 1966 adopting the educational philosophy of his father, a nation builder and educator former President Jose P. Laurel. Its flagship courses are Hospitality Management and Tourism, Marine Transportation, Medical Technology, Dentistry and Nursing. Now, Lyceum of the Philippines University has over 49 degree & non-degree programs offerings. The school employs over 500 teaching and non-teaching personnel to cater to the needs of its almost 10,000 student population.
